I required a new roof for my extension to include extra roof insulation. The Harling was in poor repair and required removal and replacement. The quote I was given was for the extreme case which would cover any problems they came across. In the end it was not required and my bill was reduced accordingly . A great group of workmen and the work was finished to a high standard, and on time. Any small problem was quickly addressed by Allan or Martin. Very happy with the finished work.
26 June 2025: Martin came out before heading off on holiday to quote for UPVC gutter replacement & stated would send 3 quotes a) UPVC replacement, b) & c) 2 different quotes for cast iron repairs. Stated may do some quotes while on holiday.
8 July 2025: Checked in with Martin re quotes, still on holiday but will chase up Allan & see if he is sending these to me & if not then he (Martin) stated will do it before tomorrow.
22 July 2025: Contacted Allan re quotes and he stated would chase it up.
19 August 2025: Have not heard anything back from Martin or Allan.
Previously to this we had roof work carried out by the company in 2024, we were happy with the work and also recommended our neighbour to them who also had roofing work carried out and was happy with the outcome.
Would love an explanation as to why I have been ignored!
We needed our full roof replaced after finding out the batons were rotten.
We had a few companies give us quotes for the job. Allan Hay’s quote was better than the others and as we had used them before for a repair and were happy with their work, we went with them.
From the initial quote, right through to the completion of the the job, they have provided a great service and their standard of work has been excellent. In addition, they tidied up every scrap of mess and if anything left it tidier than before they started.

Great company. Everyone polite and friendly. Had small bit snagging following work completed and they came out very quickly to sort it.

I messaged to ask if someone could give me a call to arrange an inspection of our roof as we thought there might be a leak. We received a very quick response from Martin. He came to the house within a couple of days and gave us a very reasonable price for the work required - the repairs and inspection were all carried out within two days. Absolutely delighted with the service provided and would certainly highly recommend this firm
